I've actually been back at home since Thursday, 17 January 2008 however our ISP (Internet Service Provider) never upgraded our broadband plan. On the 18 January 2008, my mother rang up our ISP. They apologised and everything seemed alright. Long story short, they disconnected our internet connection instead of upgrading it. Only recently has our internet connection been restored.
Now that I'm back, I'm ready to make IGMO a far more enjoyable and exciting place to visit. I'm going to advertise IGMO through YouTube, I'm going to post on more forums and submit IGMO to even more directories. If there's anything that you think would help get the word out, then go for it!
I was also considering changing the acronym of IGMO from the 'Independent Graphics & Manipulation Organisation' to the 'Independent Gaming & Multimedia Organisation'. Effectively, the current site (igmo.info) would be transferred over to another domain (igio.org). You can read more about this in the thread titled: Should IGMO's name be changed?
This means that the current site (igmo.info) would be transferred over to another domain (igio.org). I will then roll out a whole new web site dedicated to gaming, movies, music, jokes, and various other forms of entertainment.

The old IGMO would be renamed to IGIO which I'm considering naming it the 'Independent Graphics & Imaging Organisation'

In particular the food for lunch and dinner was awesome. Seafood, 4 kinds of salads, lots of ham, jelly, pavlova, ice cream, whipped cream and cake is what I can remember.

I also got a Transformers DVD boxset which transforms into a transformer. I got a 2008 calendar with photos of concept cars, a PHP and MySQL book, a torch (4 batteries included :)), lollies and a computer toolkit (wire cutters, pliers, screwdrivers etc.)

On top of that, I went bike riding with my brother and then we watched Transformers until my brother's new LCD TV lost all colour quality.
So how was your Christmas yesterday?

Hello everyone,

Today i'm going to teach you how to create Adobe photoshop leaves logo.

First start by save (right click save as) this image .

After you have save it open in Photoshop and follow the next steps:
Double-click on the background image to make a layer.
Click on Edit in quick mask mode (is under the Foreground and Background color selector).
You will enter the Quick mask options..
By default the mask color is red. In this case red is not the best color so change it to blue or 0033ff (forehead color).

Select the Brush tool and use the following brush (the brush size i'm using is 145)

While in quick mask mode make some leaves on the canvas, it should look something like this one.

Exit the quick mask mode.
Now you have a selection. Go to Select>Inverse.
Copy (ctrl + c ) the selection and paste (Ctrl + v )it in new layer.
Hide the original layer,go to blending option (layer >> layer style >> blending options ) add drop shadow and you are done.

Here is final result,

Thank you for reading this tutorial

Beam Light

Hello

I will show you today how to add a beam of light to your photos.

Open a photo in photoshop from your stock photo. if you don't have one you can use mine:

Open the photo you want to add a light beam effect.
Press Control-J to duplicate the layer.

With your Polygonal Lasso Tool draw a beam of light similar with mine:

Go to the Channels palette and click on the Save Selection as Channel icon

Now, click on Alpha 1 and press Control-D to Deselect.

Go to Filter menu > Blur > Gaussian Blur. When the dialog appears, enter 15 pixels

Now, you'll need to load the Alpha channel as a selection, so click on the Load Channel as Selection button at the bottom of the palette.

Once it's loaded, return to the RGB Composite channel by pressing Control + ~

Inverse your selection by pressing Control-Shift-I. Then press Control-L to open Levels, and drag the bottom-right Output Levels slider to the left to darken the surrounding areas

You'll have to Inverse the selection again, so press Control-Shift-I again.

Now that you've inversed the selection, bring up Levels again, but this time drag the bottom-left Output Levels slider to the right to lighten up the beam. Again, lighten it up more than you think you need to, and then click OK.

Press Control-D to Deselect your beam.

Add a layer mask to your beam layer. Click on the Add Layer Mask icon at the bottom of the Layers palette.

Press D and then X to set your Foreground color to black,
Press B to get the Brush tool, and then choose a small soft-edged brush from the Brush Picker

Now you can start painting over this girl , but only paint over the areas that fall inside the beam of light.

Another step you can do it is to lower the opacity of this layer.Try to change the opacity to 50 % or less.

This technique is very useful if you have the right photo.

Thank you
